Our rescue animals arrive from shelters with nothing. They are scared and grateful all at once. Help us help them on their path to loving new forever homes. Here are some of the things you can do to make a difference!

• Foster a dog or cat. Fosters provide shelter and love to an abandoned pet by offering a safe temporary home. Fostering, even short term, will help save the lives of animals who are at high risk of euthanasia in overcrowded shelters.
• Help at adoption events. Volunteers walk available dogs and talk to prospective adopters.
• Do home visits. Pre-adoption home visits ensure that our animals are placed in safe, appropriate homes.
• Transport animals. Every week we need volunteers to pick up dogs and cats from designated pick-up spots and deliver them to local foster homes.
• Help with PR so that we can raise awareness.
• Host a small fundraiser in your home to benefit PetConnect Rescue.
• Collect donations in kind (collars, leashes, toys, crates, etc.) and deliver to PetConnect Rescue.
• Photograph pets for our website.

WE WELCOME THE HELP AND IDEAS OF ALL ANIMAL LOVERS. Join us and together we will make this world a kinder place for animals. 5,000,000 dogs and cats are euthanized each year in America because there simply is no place for them to go. It is not because they are unlovable, or unadoptable, it is simply because too many people don’t know that they are out there.

PLEASE HELP US SPREAD THE WORD!. Awareness is the missing element in the pet rescue equation. Helpless animals are waiting in cold cages for us to speak for them. Somewhere right now there is an animal that is in an absolutely hopeless situation. A death sentence may be looming. It may be a motherless puppy, a sweet old cat or an abandoned and confused family dog. However that animal’s luck may be changing right now because you have decided to do something .
