Dinky needs your help!

Dinky is a Whoodle (Wheaten Terrier/Poodle mix). Said to be 13 yrs old, Dinky was surrendered to a shelter by his family, who gave no reason for abandoning this sweet guy to almost certain death. Dinky's bright eyes and white teeth seem to indicate that he is younger than the family said, but however old he is, he is a happy, outgoing boy who loves people and other dogs. He has so much life left in him!

If being dumped at a the shelter weren't bad enough, Dinky was found to have bilateral hernias, which need to be surgically repaired when he is neutered. This surgery will cost around $1000, which is far in excess of our adoption fee.

Although many rescues would pass by an older dog with a medical problem, PetConnect tries to say 'yes' whenever we can, but the unexpected expenses strain our budget. We depend on the generosity of our supporters to ensure that these animals are given the chance to live healthy lives in a loving home. All funds in excess of the amount required will be used for the next animal with extraordinary needs.
