Our Success Stories:
These photos tell the stories of the many wonderful dogs and cats that have been rescued through PetConnect and are Home At Last. We invite you to see what can really happen when people come together to save animals in need. We extend our profuse thanks to all the wonderful people who have adopted these animals and given them loving homes. We hope that they are bringing as much joy to your lives as you have brought to theirs.
Marie, now Lana, is settling in beautifully with her new family. Her mom writes, “We adopted Marie, now Lana, last month and she is happy as can be settling in to her new home/family. She is great with the kids and loves to sleep in her dog bed at night. The first time to the vet she didn’t want to get into the car but we have taken a few fun trips to walk during lacrosse practice and soccer games and she now jumps right in the car. Lana loves to watch and go after all the birds and squirrels in the yard, she is an active girl. One of her favorite toys is the squeaky fox she has in the picture on her dog bed. We heard about PetConnect from several of our friends who have adopted from you and are happy we found you.”
Handsome blue eye/brown eye Bear loves his new family, huge yard and his canine sibling Raisin. Once settled and loved on, his personality has been emerging. His mom writes “He loves to sit, paws crossed. He now also sits ON his bowl when hungry and knocks the basket with the leashes in it off the counter when he would like to go for a walk!”
Haley & Harley are having lots of fun in their new loving forever home! Both settled in quickly, found lots of new toys to play with and a family to snuggle and purr for! Welcome home Haley & Harley – we couldn’t be happier for you!
Nigel, the “wonderfully curious” young cat, found his forever home with a couple who have another cat named Reed. Nigel and Reed are slowly getting to know each other and we think they will soon be good friends. Nigel is loving his new home and people. He is playing and chatting up a storm. He is an excellent conversationalist! Welcome home, Nigel!
Sweet Thackery was a friendly stray who found his way into the hearts of his foster humans. Thackery gets along well with everyone – especially his new family. He now has human sisters and a dog buddy and he is very happy. Way to go, Thackery!
Tut, now Skittles, has a new baby brother! It looks like Skittles is loving his new BFF. Skittles, who will always be on the small size due to stunted growth, is doing great! His mom states “we think he’s perfect just the way he is!”
Penny, formerly Spirit, was adopted into a family of PCR pups! Her mom writes: “We recently adopted Penny (Spirit) and wanted to share some pictures. She’s doing well in her new home with her two PetConnect Alum siblings – Rufus adopted in 2009 (large tricolor) and Lucy adopted in 2011 (white and brindle pittie).” Congratulations to the whole family!
Ebby has a new life and new name! Her mom writes: “She is feeling right at home and more comfortable every day! She is such a puppy! We named her Hali. This is a Greek name meaning Sea. The beach and the ocean are my passion. I always try to have some kind of meaning with my pets names.” Congratulations, Hali!
After being a wonderful mom to Galway, Gregory & Guinness, it’s finally Gretel’s turn to be spoiled. With a canine & human siblings, we foresee a future filled with love & adventure. Congratulations, sweet girl!
