SUMMARY:Race to the Rescue 5K and Fun Run
DESCRIPTION:Join PetConnect Rescue at 9:00am on Sunday May 19th for their second annual Race to the Rescue\, 5k and children’s fun run.\n\nTaking place at the beautiful Franklin Park in Purcellville VA\, this is an event perfect for all. Run/jog/walk along a scenic trail all while raising funds for animals in need. Avid runners\, those just getting started\, families\, and children are all encouraged to participate. Don’t forget the pets too! Leashed dogs are welcome as well\, as long as they are up-to-date on vaccines and get along with other canine friends! \nREGISTER ONLINE NOW: https://potomac.enmotive.com/events/register/2024-race-to-the-rescue-5k-and-fun-run \nFun Run starts at 9:00 am\n5K starts at 9:30 am\nStart and Finish line is in the field across from the pool parking lot in Franklin Park. \nRegistration Fees\n5K: $35 through April 21\n$40 through May 16 when online registration closes at 8:00pm\n$45 during packet pick up and on race day \nFun Run (12 & Under):\n$20 through May 16 when online registration closes at 8:00 pm\n$25 during packet pick up and on race day\n**when registering multiple children for the Fun Run\, a $5\ndiscount will be applied. \nPacket Pick up will be Friday\, May 17 from 4pm-6pm and Saturday\, May 18 from 10am-12pm at Potomac River Running in Leesburg (1601 Village Market Blvd. SE\, Unit 120\, Leesburg\, VA 20175). Then on race day at Franklin Park\, near the start/finish line. Registration will be available during packet pick up and on race day. \nAwards will be given to the top male and female finisher and top male and female finishers by age groups.
