Our “Home At Last” Success Stories

These photos tell the stories of the many wonderful dogs and cats that have been rescued through PetConnect Rescue and are “Home At Last”. We invite you to see what can really happen when people come together to save animals in need. We extend our profuse thanks to all the wonderful people who have adopted these animals and given them loving homes. We hope that they are bringing as much joy to your lives as you have brought to theirs.


Maggie came from Garrett County, MD, and was adopted immediately by an employee of the boarding facility where she was staying until she could go into foster care. It was love at first sight for Maggie and her adopter!

Jem & Boo

Jem and Boo, brother and sister, had the good fortune of being adopted together. They will live in Bethesda, MD, with their own young human brother and sister who are very excited about their new kitties!

Zeke & Tonka

Zeke (above left) and Tonka (below left) are best buddies who were adopted together by a loving family.


Dill was adopted by a sweet young woman named Carly and will live in Falls Church, VA. She will have an older “big sister” cat named Lola for a playmate.


Rita has gone from a scared puppy to a very social, outgoing one! Rita is happy living on several acres in Potomac and having a great time running and playing with her new brother, a lab named Angus. Mimi & Pancake

Mimi (above left) and Pancake (below left), formerly Lion and Bear, have been adopted by a wonderful family in Rockville, MD. Each kitten will have a little girl to call her own.


CeCe, now called Stormy, is having a wonderful, fun time with her new family.Her mom writes, “Stormy gets along well with our three children and three cats. She weighs 81 lbs and is very happy in her new family.”


Foxy was adopted by a wonderful couple who are happy to have her in their lives.


Guinness, formerly known as Mikado, lives with a great couple in Gaithersburg, MD. Her new life includes all the attention she can ask for and many happy moments with her family. Greta & Caspian

Greta (above left) and Caspian (below left) became buddies in their foster home, so they were quite lucky to have been adopted together. They are now part of a really nice family and each kitten has its very own child for a playmate. Truly a happily-ever-after story!
