Who could resist a face like this? Well, apparently not Mac’s foster family, who fell in love with him after just a few weeks and couldn’t bear to part ways. This wonderful family of 4 in Bethesda, MD, will give Mac the super loving home that he deserves. It looks like he’s already settled in!
Our “Home At Last” Success Stories
These photos tell the stories of the many wonderful dogs and cats that have been rescued through PetConnect Rescue and are “Home At Last”. We invite you to see what can really happen when people come together to save animals in need. We extend our profuse thanks to all the wonderful people who have adopted these animals and given them loving homes. We hope that they are bringing as much joy to your lives as you have brought to theirs.
Viola (pictured left) and Shine (pictured below) are going to join a couple in Germantown, MD, who also have a Great Dane named Hamlet. Viola plans to assume alpha status over the Great Dane. Viola and Shine bonded despite being from different litters, and are very happy they get to stay play buddies.
Sadie, who just craves human attention, was adopted by a loving, attentive family who will shower her with affection, giving her all the petting, cuddling, ear rubbing and chest scratching she wants.
McGonagall (who is going to stay named McGonagall and live next door to a neighbor cat named Hermione!) is going to a wonderful loving home with 2 parents, 2 boys, 2 dogs…and now they’ll have 2 cats! They are so excited for this latest addition, who they plan to call Mac for short.
Henry, formerly known as Seymour, has moved all the way to Virginia to find his forever home. His new mom has already introduced him to their 3 labrador retrievers, and he is taking it in stride, purring up a storm and loving his new home.
Huck is loving each day with his new family.

Gypsy’s new family includes 3 other labs so she has lots of company and playmates. She had a wonderful time burrowing in the recent deep snow and is looking forward to the next storm – although her new parents are NOT.
Radley will live in a loving Bethesda, MD, home with a caring couple and a new kitty friend. Radley was adopted to be a companion to another rescued cat named Nano. The adopters didn’t want Nano to be lonely, and we’re sure she’ll be kept pretty busy with Radley as her playmate!
