Our “Home At Last” Success Stories

These photos tell the stories of the many wonderful dogs and cats that have been rescued through PetConnect Rescue and are “Home At Last”. We invite you to see what can really happen when people come together to save animals in need. We extend our profuse thanks to all the wonderful people who have adopted these animals and given them loving homes. We hope that they are bringing as much joy to your lives as you have brought to theirs.


Lovely Emma’s kittens were adopted and now it is her turn. She is happily Home at Last. Emma lives in Damascus, MD with a really nice couple and an older female dog named Scout. She is getting used to the canine attention and she loves to keep her new mom and dad company.


After checking out his new digs, beautiful, shy Matthew settled in. He is living in Bethesda with a fantastic big “sister” who really wanted a cat. Sherlock is happy and settled with his forever family.  He captured the hearts in his foster home, and they knew he was meant to stay with them.  Sherlock now has lots of love and attention – and even a big sister.  It’s good times at last for Sherlock!


Lio, formerly Gandalf, is in a loving new home in Montgomery County, MD, making friends with an older cat named Bailey who is coming around to the idea of having a little gray shadow!


From the shelter where she languished, all dirty and matted, Winnie has found the most loving home ever in Philadelphia. She bonds with everyone she meets and loves going for swims with her two Goldendoodle “cousins” (when she isn’t cruising the East Coast in her beloved doggy bag).

Charlotte & Alice
