Cleo and her brother were dropped off at a high kill shelter. Both were scooped up by rescues, with Cleo coming to PetConnect, where she was so shy it was hard to get her to come out from under the table to even say hello to future adopters. Her wonderful foster parents worked very hard on getting her to trust people. It was a lot of work, but it paid off. Cleo is now living with her new mom in a big townhouse in Poolesville where she is the center of everything, and gets lots of long walks and belly rubs. Her new mom says, “She is doing great! Everyday I see more of her true personality come out – what a wonderful puppy she is. Thanks so much for allowing me to have her, I couldn’t be happier.”
